Technical Difficulties FAQs

What do I do if I am having trouble accessing my iLearn profile?

Click Contact Us in the left navigation to report the issue. Please provide as many details as you can about your situation.

Does it matter which browser I use? Does it have to be a certain version?

For the best experience, we recommend Mozilla Firefox 1.07 and above, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and above, Opera 8.0 and above, or Apple Safari 1.1 and above.

Do I need to download any programs or obtain any plug-ins?

Some courses contain Flash videos and demos. You need Adobe Flash Player to view these files. Also, lessons may include information saved in PDF format and will require the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have the Acrobat Reader installed, visit http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html to download it.

How do I bookmark this site?

In Firefox, press Ctrl+D or select Bookmarks > Bookmark This Site. In the Add Bookmark dialog box, select where you want to save the page, and then click OK.

In Internet Explorer, select Favorites > Add to Favorites. In the Add Favorite dialog box, select where you want to save the page, and then click OK.

In Opera, select Bookmarks > Bookmark page. In the Add bookmark dialog box, select where you want to save the page, and then click OK.

Why can't I view Flash content?

Check the Adobe Web site to make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, and ensure that it is working properly.

If the player is installed correctly on your computer, you will see the text "Adobe Flash Player is installed" along with the version number in the Version Information box on the page.

Check the Flash player version table to make sure your operating system and browser versions support the most recent versions of Flash. If you are using an older or less common operating system, such as Windows 95, Windows NT, or Solaris, some of our video and interactive flash content may be inaccessible to you, because updated Flash Players are not available for these systems.

If you don't have the latest version of flash, you can download it from the Adobe Flash Player Download Center.

If the download stalls, try using the refresh/reload button in your browser's navigation toolbar. If this doesn't work, try reloading while holding down the Shift key.

If the above steps don't fix your issue, please refer to the following pages on Adobe's support Web site.
