For many couples, miscommunication is the number one cause of hurt feelings, anger, and lack of trust in their relationship. Men and women have different communication styles, but how are these styles distinct and what impact can these differences have on your relationships? This course reviews some key distinguishing characteristics of gendered communication and helps you gain concrete skills to effectively build better relationships.

Lessons
Lesson 1: The Communication Connection
This first lesson provides an overview of the primary differences between men and women, and explains how they contribute to common communication problems. It also highlights why these differences can ultimately help keep men and women together.
Lesson 2: Communicating Man Style
We'll delve more deeply into the male side of the equation and look at how men approach life and communication. The goal is not only to help women understand men better, but also to help men get some insight into themselves.
Lesson 3: Communicating Woman Style
On the flip side, this lesson covers how women think and handle communications. The goal is not only to help men understand women better, but also for women to get to know themselves and their own ways.
Lesson 4: Connection Skills
As a couple, men and women can learn concrete skills to effectively build better relationships. This lesson includes exercises and practical activities men and women can do on their own and together to improve their communication connections.
Lesson 5: Dealing with Disconnections
Using examples, this lesson examines the fundamental differences between men and women in a variety of situations and explains some common ways couples disconnect. Practical tips on how to improve communication are included.
Lesson 6: Connecting Our Different Worlds
Men and women can benefit from getting in touch with the opposite sex to help overcome difficulties or to get a fresh perspective. This lesson also offers tips on communicating in the bedroom and through long-term relationships.
